From October 1 to December 31, 2021, we invite artists from all disciplines to participate Walter Foster ‘Win a Book Offer’ Contest for the opportunity to create and publish an educational art book with us!
Aspiring authors are invited to submit entries in the following categories: drawing (any fine art medium), painting (any fine art medium), crafts (e.g. crochet, embroidery, polymer clay, jewelry making , etc.) and other art (mixed media, cartoons, paint casting, block printing, manga / anime, etc.).
Submissions should be educational in nature with practical tips, techniques and projects and / or step-by-step lessons that show how to work in a specific medium. The aim is to teach beginner or novice artists and / or amateurs how to work with a specific medium or in a specific field. Think of it as a beginner art class in a book.
